For safe qigong
Qigong is basically a low-risk technique. It is not inherently dangerous because it is a function that everyone has. However, mastering qigong techniques requires training, and if you want to be able to do something with qigong, you need to be careful about safety because you want to sharpen a part of your qigong. Let me explain this.
- Do not do self-styling.
Do not do self-styling. This is the basic premise. There are rare people who can learn qigong just by reading books or watching videos, but as a general rule, it is important to choose a master to teach you.
The most dangerous part, in my opinion, is the part where you go into a relaxed, altered state of consciousness. This is a necessary state of consciousness when rewriting the unconscious, but if you can rewrite the other person, it means that you are also able to be rewriten by somebody else.
Therefore, it is essential to learn from a good teacher in order to safely control the altered state of consciousness.
Here, a good teacher means one who is not malicious and does not guide the student according to the convenience of the teacher’s side.
For example, meditation is one of the techniques to experience the altered state of consciousness. Therefore, if you want to start meditating, it is essential to choose a good teacher to initiate you. There are many training classes for meditation operated by religious organization, but you need to be careful to avoid the danger of being caught in a cult.
It is safer to ask someone who knows good teacher, or to use a meditation or qigong school run by a traditional religious organization.
It is also said that as you meditate more deeply, your experience of the world changes. (I have never meditated to the level of seeing visions.) ) If you do this, you may get stuck in that world or fall into a state called Zen sickness, so please do not do it on your own. Meditation is dangerous if you do it on your own.
- Keep balanced.
Qigong for the purpose of health is not so dangerous in nature, since the goal is to balance the body and mind. The problem is to do unbalanced training in order to acquire some special ability. If the teacher understands the dangers, he or she will be able to guide the student appropriately while keeping an eye on the student’s condition. Here again, it is important to get a good teacher.
It is also important not to do qigong to the point that it becomes unbalanced in your daily life. If you want to train thoroughly for a period of time as a discipline, you should do so with the understanding that other elements of your life will be sacrificed. It’s like studying for a short-term intensive exam.
And when it is over, it is important to return to a balanced state.
- Understand your own constitution well.
In the world of energy, there are two types of people: those who are sensitive and those who are not so sensitive. Energy-sensitive people are those who can feel chi energy even after just a very rudimentary qigong training, those who are naturally sensitive to energy in power spots, and those who have synesthesia, which most people do not have.
Sensitivity to energy is an advantage in energy work because it allows for a detailed understanding of the situation. However, to feel energy means to receive energy, which means that even a small amount of energy can be received and easily affected by it.
This makes them susceptible to negative energy as well.
When a person with this constitution tries to be a healer, it often happens that he or she inhales the negative energy that the client produces, and the client gets better but he or she gets worse. It is especially important for energy-sensitive people to protect themselves and avoid contact with negative energy. If you are carrying negative energy, ask an energy worker of higher power to remove it from you. Or you can ask a powerful priest or priestess to perform an exorcism. The world of energy is a world of strength and weakness, so it is important to understand your own qualities and abilities while working to ensure your safety.
