Do I have talent for energy work?
I wrote an article titled “Talent and Effort.” Some of you may be wondering or interested in the question, “Do I have talent?” Here I would like to give my personal opinion for those who would like to know if they have a talent for energy work.
- Talent in Energy Work
First of all, as I have written in several articles, my theory is that you do not need to be gifted to do qigong. This is because I have actually taught about 20 complete beginners the rudiments of qigong (the content of which I wrote about in “The The First Steps of Qigong”). The reason will be that, in fact, everyone does qigong unconsciously. The reason why qigong is so effective is because the person receiving the qigong treatment is also capable of qigong.
That being said, if you learn qigong, you will be able to improve faster if you have the original qualities, and you may be interested in whether you have those qualities or not. My mentor of Uchu art says that talents and qualities are determined by the star signs.
My mentor is a master of Indian astrology, and as I recall, if there are stars in the 11th house, it means that you have a talent for manipulating the unseen world, such as energy work. I know it sounds a bit obvious, but I guess it means that you are born with a certain gift.
I was in charge of IT and finance when I worked at a company before I started qigong. IT(Information Technology) consists of programs and it is invisible thing , and also in finance, money is nowadays electronic data which also is invisible thing. I was suited for this kind of work, and although I did not consciously realize it, I had chosen the right job for me.
- Qigong can be done with aptitude.
As I also wrote in “Talent and Effort,” I believe that even if you do not have talent in qigong, if you have aptitude, you may be able to improve faster than others. If you find qigong interesting and are happy to work with the teacher’s guidance, I think it is safe to say that you have the aptitude. If you like it, you are good at it.
If you feel that you like your teacher, I recommend that you follow him or her. It is important faithfully follow the teacher’s teachings, and if you put your own opinion on what the teacher said, your progress will be delayed. Until you fully understand what the teacher is saying and have reached a level where you can use it as a technique completely, do not put your own opinions into the lesson. I think the attitude of the learner is more important than his or her talent.
- Uchu art requires talent.
Handling Uchu art is a world required talent, so It is recommended that you check your star sign, etc. without wasting time. However, in the case of the connection with the universe, even if you don’t have the ability at the beginning, you may be able to connect with the universe little by little after receiving attunement. Therefore, even if you find that you are not suited for it, there is no need to give up 100%.
On the other hand, what you should pay attention to is where to connect with. There are many cases in which people receive attunement from some guru without careful investigation because it just looks interesting. And as a result, their lives become a mess. Some guru may try to use the power to keep you in their circle of clients.
So how do you know what is safe? If you are not sure, go with something traditional. Whether it is Buddhism or Christianity, if it has endured and remained for thousands of years, it has become something that has been accepted by many people through the ages, and you will not be forced to accept something strange.
It is not a matter of choosing an emerging Buddhist religion or an emerging Christian religion, but of choosing a conservative mainstream ones.
I think that many people yearn for special abilities and want to obtain them, but I think that this desire is the biggest cause of falling for the traps of those with malicious abilities, so it is actually the best recommendation not to yearn for special talents and the like.
